Unemployment for April 2007
The unemployment rate in Workforce Region 8 (Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns
counties) was 3.1 percent in April 2007. This was up slightly from the region’s year ago rate of 3.0
and just lower than the state rate of 3.2. Out of a labor force of 688,925, there were 21,639
unemployed region residents.
