Lieutenant Governor Toni Jennings Applauds U.S. Department of Labor Award
$50 Million to Assist Florida's Workers Affected by Hurrican Charley
Lieutenant Governor Toni Jennings today thanked U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao for a $50 million National Emergency Grant (NEG) aimed at helping Florida's workforce system. The grant will provide post-recovery employment and training assistance to Floridians whose jobs were affected by Hurricane Charley and Tropical Storm Bonnie.
