The appplication submission can be broken down into the following areas.
1) BBB Offical Application Form - Found on page five of the application kit found at the above. Requires a signature from an officer of the company.
2) Introduction - Two or three pages created to introduce your organization to the BBB Torch Award judges. Feel free to include: a brief history of company or charity, a description of the industry including some of the standard regulations, why the organization was started, who the managerial team is and why you feel the organization deserves the award.
3) Four individual summaries - A one or two page summary for each of the four criteria. Each of these summaries should contain examples of your Best Practices or an ethical dilemma and the results of that dilemma.
A one-to-two page summary for each of the following four criteria:
- Ethical Management Practices -
- Ethical Customers, Employee, and Stakeholder Relation Practices -
- Honest Commicationa and Marketing Practices -
- Trustworthy Reputation in Your Industry and Community -
4) Proof - Outside Verificatyion that what you are stating in the four summaries is true.
Be sure to include reasons you feel you deserve the award along the way.
