Unemployment Rates Continue Drop
Central Florida unemployment rates continue their downward trend to 5.0% for the Orlando MSA in July 2002.  Osceola rates continue to drop most significantly, down from 7.2% in January to 4.9% in July 2002.  For the Orlando MSA, this means that there were 883,206 employed residents and 46,315 unemployed last month.  Orlando rates continue their trend of being less than that of both the Florida rate (5.4%) and the national rate (6.0%).
