Central Florida's unemployment rate of 5.2% remains below Florida's rate of 5.4% and the nation's rate of 6.0%.  Central Florida currently has 884,749 employed and 48,749 unemployed residents.  June rates vary widly across the state, from 14.5% in Hendry County to 2.5% in Monroe County.
