WCF has been presented the James C. Gates Distinguished Service Award for its contributions to advance employment for veterans in Central Florida.  The Department of Florida Veteran of Foreign Wars recognized WCF for this award, specifically for “The American Dream Job Fair in Celebration of Veterans Day.”  In partnership with the VFW Pine Hills Post 8152 and co-sponsor, Central Florida Employment Council, more than 3,500 job seekers were brought together for the event that celebrated veterans and provided the opportunity for people to use WCF’s ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER resources.  Over 60 employers attended the event.
