Universal Studios, the Marriott Hotel in Lake Mary, and the Crowne Plaza Hotel partnered with the ONE-STOP CAREER CENTERS to host job fairs that drew thousands of job seekers.
May's Grand Hire Event for Universal Studios resulted in hiring 2,000 Central Floridians. This event had an emphasis on summer employment with a further emphasis on high school students. Several high schools provided bus transportation for their students to and from the event. ONE-STOP CAREER CENTERS role was to provide pre-screening services for the thousands of people who attended.
The Marriott Hotel in Lake Mary opened its doors for the first time in May for a Job Fair on three consecutive Saturday's. This brand new hotel targets the growing business sector in Seminole County. The first job fair was held at the Seminole County ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER on a Saturday and the final two job fairs (also on Saturday's) were held on location at the Marriott Hotel. During the three day event, ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER provided a full staff of career managers which offered assistance with screening applications, interviewing tips and the hiring process. Dawn Kentala, Marriott Hotel Human Resources Manager, stated, "The ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER was extremely helpful in getting the work out to the community and assisting in the job fairs. I would recommend the ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER to any employer needing assistance with their staffing needs."
Crowne Plaza Hotel's Grand Opening kick-off began with a Job Fair. ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER assisted for several days providing on-site services for seekers. ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER staff greeted the prospective employees, screened applicants, and assisted human resources personnel with every aspect of the job fair event. The Crowne Plaza opened its doors in mid June to serve businesses and tourists in Orlando.

Use our offices to recruit, interview and hire. Our offices are centrally located with free parking at each office.
