Diving Deep Into Done Deals

The Done Deals Committee “dives deep” again this issue with an inside profile of a done deal. This quarter, we are highlighting deals from the June issue submitted by more than one associate at Merrill Lynch.

Sonia Ginnell, Heidi Gough and Helen Wathen with Merrill Lynch announce two new done deals with American Minority Business Forms. They provided gifts and brass bookmarks for Merrill Lynch clients. Helen also announces a new done deal with Ginny’s Gifts for client gift baskets and one with Louis Companies for Century Club Award plaques. These relationships were formed after meeting at the Council’s Round-Up Trade Fair.

Now, let’s “dive a little deeper” into this deal with Helen Wathen’s inside scoop! "Heidi Gough, Sonia Ginnell and I met Kathy Hartzler of American Minority Business Forms at Round Up 2003. Heidi and I have also worked with Kathy on the Welcoming Committee in the past year. Kathy has creative ideas for corporate gifts that will help take her business far. In addition, Kathy has attended several Merrill Lynch financial workshops and has found them to be very helpful.

A number of the women at Merrill Lynch have had Ginny's Gifts provide gift baskets for special occasions and client appreciation. We met Cynthia Henson at Round Up 2003. This particular deal was for Christmas baskets for some of the Merrill Lynch managers who have supported our women's initiative. We were very impressed with the unique nature of the gifts! In addition, Merrill Lynch is honored to have been chosen by Ginny's Gifts as their Financial Advisor.

We also met Carol Louis of Louis Companies at Round Up in 2003 and have worked closely with her on WBCS committees. Louis Companies provided some incredible gold embossed notes for a women's business event Merrill Lynch sponsored in the fall. Our management was very impressed both with the quality of the work and their commitment to service. Because they helped our event run so smoothly, our district chose Louis Companies to provide award plaques for another program. We continue to be impressed by the caliber of work and service they offer. Thanks to the WBCS, our relationship with Louis Companies has turned into a mutual business opportunity. We are looking forward to helping Louis Companies attain its financial goals as well. Our lending and cash management platform is unsurpassed and our personal financial analysis service is a wonderful tool for helping individuals make their dreams come true!” says Helen.
