You only have to read the monthly Done Deals issues to know that exhibiting at and attending Round-Up works! Every month, we see deal after deal that comes from this annual event. But, getting business from Round-Up isn’t for the undetermined. It often takes months, even years to see that order placed or contract signed.
Many of this year’s attendees and exhibitors have exhibited at Round-Up for years and know what it takes to be successful. “For me,” says Peak Promotions Owner, Deanna Becker, “making my business successful is about building relationships – and that takes time. I’ve taken the time to exhibit at Round-Up for years and with patience and persistence, it has paid off.”
This year’s Round-Up Trade Fair brought hundreds of exhibitors and attendees together with common purposes to learn, network and get business for WBEs. New this year was an “all in one” workshop by Christine Cashen, where WBEs and Sustaining Members learned to do more with what they have. Almost 100 people attended this workshop which was a 500% increase from last year’s combined attendance at three workshops. Returning this year was “Suppliers to Buyers” which matched corporate buyer’s needs with WBEs who could supply the products/services for which they were looking. We had a 47% increase in the number of WBEs who received appointments, mostly due to a 20% increase in the number of buyers who participated in the program.
