You Will Be Rewarded
Sustaining Member Recruitment Incentive Program

A primary focus for the WBCS is the recruitment and active involvement of corporations, public entities, institutions, and other businesses interested in doing business with a diverse supplier base. Growth in Sustaining Membership means growth in opportunities for WBEs. The WBCS invites all current Sustaining and WBE members to participate in our recruitment efforts and has developed a program for recognizing and thanking current members who recruit new Sustaining Members into full membership in the Council.

Each member who recruits a new Sustaining Member into full membership will receive a certificate and recognition at the WBCS Annual Meeting and in the Council’s newsletter.

In addition, for each Sustaining Member you recruit, you will receive your choice of thank-you gifts equivalent to $50, up to a maximum of $250. You may choose either a $50 American Express Gift Card or $50 off your next year’s membership dues.

A successful recruitment will result in a dues-paying Sustaining Member within the 2003-2004 calendar years. It will involve initiating and fostering a relationship between the WBCS and the prospective member, including pursuing and maintaining contact with the appropriate decision-maker in the company, providing information on the value of membership, and arranging wherever possible a face-to-face meeting between yourself, Debbie Hurst, and the prospective member.

If you are interested in helping in this recruitment effort, please contact Debbie Hurst at dhurst@wbcsouthwest.org for information to assist you in your recruitment efforts. The arrangement of a face-to-face meeting between yourself, Debbie and the prospective member is strongly encouraged.
