Increase in Done Deals Challenge Winners

On July 15, 2003 at the TOP TEN Meeting, eight outstanding corporations (compared to five last year) were honored for their support of the Done Deals program and for meeting the Corporate Challenge that was issued at last spring's Round-Up Luncheon. The Challenge, to submit at least five done deals by the deadline, was issued to motivate sustaining members to submit more done deals and therefore increase the total numbers for the year. In comparison to last year, the number of done deals reported has increased by over 140%!

Congratulations to our Corporate Challenge Winners – EDS, Fluor, Frito-Lay, JCPenney, Legacy Women's Financial, Merrill Lynch, Sabre and TXU! All of these companies submitted at least five done deals each, and all together they have submitted 76 deals since April!

In addition, a drawing was held of the winners to give away a pizza party to the winning purchasing department/supplier diversity team. EDS won this prize and cashed it in for a special meeting last week.
