It’s MORE Than Half The Battle
Technology Tracks 2003
by Joyce McKee

Technology can be a boon to an organization that propels it beyond the competition. Or it can be a bottleneck…restraining the basic functions of interacting within the organization and most importantly, communicating with customers.

Successfully implementing technologies into your operations requires knowing what questions to ask and getting those answers. These tracks will address questions that are integral to your analysis such as:

• What are my processes and how can technology aid them?
• What are the hard and soft costs to deploying technology?
• How do I determine when to add certain technology components?
• What facts do I need to make the best decision regarding a technology purchase?
• How do I avoid costly mistakes?
• What can I learn from others that will ensure that I make wise decisions?

The Women’s Business Council has planned a series of Technology Tracks that will enable business owners to assess various aspects to understand if these technologies are appropriate for their firms. The tracks begin on May 8th and continue once a week through June 19th. All programs will be held at Southwest Airlines Headquarters, and you can click here for more details.

Please consider joining us for one, two or all of these powerful sessions. If you have any questions regarding the value of investing your time in these Tracks, please call Joyce McKee at 214-841-1201. The Education Committee is very proud of the speakers we have assembled for these events.
