Public Invited to Water Conservation Task Force Meeting

The Citizens Water Conservation Implementation Task Force and Austin Water are holding a public meeting to receive citizen input and ideas about how we as a City and community can conserve water. The public meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at St. David's Episcopal Church located at 301 East 8^th Street.

This is an opportunity to help shape the City's water conservation program. Speakers at the workshop will provide information regarding conservation efforts across the state and in the City of Austin as well as a brief overview of the Citizen Task Force draft report to City Council "Water Conservation 2020: Strategic Recommendations". Attendees will have a chance to share their ideas about conservation measures for Austin.
