A Big "Thanks" to the Commission

NEWS "Jefferson Park Ministries is very grateful to the Commission on National and Community Service for the opportunity granted to us to better serve the community. On August 8th, 2007, the AmeriCorps members planned their annual community prevention Awareness Day event. More than 500 people attended. We had the US Army health team, Trinity hospital, Children and Family Services, attend the event and hand out information on their organizations. People had vital signs taken.  The children engaged with the clown, giant slide and sports activities. At the end of the program, we distributed 100+ school badges to the children who attended."
