The mission of the New Jersey Commission on National and Community Service is to guide and support New Jersey’s AmeriCorps and Learn and Serve America programs, promote an ethic of service for citizens of all ages and backgrounds, and strengthen communities through service in the areas of education, human needs, environmental protection, disaster response, and homeland security.
