Wisdom…
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent.
The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
Calvin Coolidge

Special Seminar in Tel Aviv May 8: Selling to US Government Requires Accurate Market Intelligence
Market Intelligence is key to entering US Gov Market
A Virginia delegation will visit Israel the week of May 8 to present a special Seminar that will explain the role that accurate market intelligence has in securing government and state contracts. Brian Flood, an expert in identifying actionable market intelligence that leads to revenue growth, is flying in from the Washington DC/Virginia area to deliver the seminar. Brian is a Vice President of Market Intelligence Services at Fedsources. What is meant by “actionable market intelligence” and how does it differ from the huge amount of resources publicly available over the internet? Brian confidently explained that “We provide information that often seems like light years before it appears on public sites… if it appears at all. Timing of the information is critical if you are to use it to succeed in the $100 billion federal civilian and defense IT market.” Hatice Murphy from Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and Ralph Robbins, the Executive Director of the Virginia Israel Advisory Board, will travel to Israel for the Seminar. Following morning seminar, Mr. Flood and the Virginia delegation will hold one-on-one consultation sessions with Israeli companies. The program is being organized in Israel by the Israel Export Export Institute. For more information and to reserve a space, click here.

Israeli Plastic Membrane Incorporated in Revolutionary Hurricane Wind Resistant Structure
Acrylife, Knowledge Works II, Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, VIAB facilitate development
(Wytheville, VA,) – Acrylife and a team of professors
and students at Virginia Tech developed a new vent technology for membrane
roofing systems. The system is designed to allow light, transportable
structures to withstand hurricane force winds similar to those of
Katrina.. The structures are made from
a membrane produced by an Israeli company, Haogenplast.
Ongoing discussions with Haogenplast were facilitated
through the VITAL (Virginia Israel Tech Alliance) Program, which was developed
jointly by Joe Meredith, PhD, President of the Corporate Research Center at
Virginia Tech and Ralph Robbins of the Virginia Israel Advisory Board.
The new vent design takes advantage of fluid mechanics and
aerodynamic principals to eliminate the uplift pressures that develop on
membrane roofs during high wind conditions.

Special Op 1: AMTI Advanced Manufacturing Technology
Can take Israeli companies through development, low volume production and marekt entry in US
http://www.advmanufacturing.com/default....
AMTI is specially suited for Israeli high tech companies
that need to move from prototype to lower volume production needed for initial
market penetration in the US. The
company can also facilitate market entry through their connections with
companies like Sony Eriksson, Infineon, Integrian, and Force to name a
few. They offer a unique service that
prices production for smaller market entry volume and for larger volume which
they can produce in the Far East through their “partners”, thus preventing
disasters that plague many young companies that lack Far East experience.
