Q: Who can benefit from the June Mission to Israel?
A: Businesses and executives who are seeking to develop strategic business partnerships and initiatives are all encouraged to take part in this unique opportunity. Participants will include industrialists, consultants, attorneys, business developers, venture capitalist firms, and investment bankers, among others.
Q: I’ve heard a lot about Israel in the news lately. Is it safe to visit Israel?
A: I recently traveled to Israel for a three-week business trip and felt safe in a “business as usual” atmosphere While there are some flash points in the region, most of the conflict remains in outlying areas and does not affect the business centers where you’ll be visiting.
Q: In addition to business meetings, what can I do while I’m in Israel?
A: While the Mission to Israel will include some structured meetings throughout the day, there will also be plenty of time to conduct other business meetings or take advantage of the region’s many tourist attractions. For those wishing to remain a few extra days, the VIAB will coordinate outings to some of the area’s finest entertainment centers, Jerusalem and the Sea of Galilee. Golfing fanatics will have the opportunity to tee-off at the beautiful courses in the ancient Roman City of Cesarea.
Q: What did people say about your last “mission” to Israel?
A: Dr. Yossi Ben-Dak, Chief Scientist and Executive Vice President of Xybernaut and participant in last year’s events commented on the value of the Mission by saying, “The connections and meetings made through the efforts of the VIAB are invaluable. Xybernaut now has high level business contacts in Israel and has closed deals based on these contacts.” For a specific look at Xybernaut and Dr. Yossi Ben-Dak’s experience with last year’s event, see the article in this issue on “xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”
