Hall Booth Avows the Only Thing Better Than Virginia Home Cooking is LeClair Ryan
A USLAW Success Story
Plaintiffs’ one million dollar eve of trial demand crashed and burned recently in a serious injury trucking case defended in federal court in Atlanta by Jim Fisher of Hall Booth, thanks to Charlie Meyer of Leclair Ryan. A Virginia attorney who also happened to be a local judge representing Plaintiff employed judicial home cooking in the Virginia venue of a medical witness with critical testimony favorable to Defendant trucking company to successfully block the evidentiary deposition of the witness sought by Fisher for use at trial. Following unsuccessful remedial efforts, Fisher contacted Charlie Meyer, partner in sister USLaw Network firm, Leclair Ryan. “One call did it all.” When informed of the involvement of Leclair Ryan in the request for the deposition, the local attorney for the physician intervened to make the physician available. The clear liability case settled for less than the medicals. “Charlie dropped everything to provide last minute assistance, invaluable local knowledge and ultimate success,” said Fisher. Fisher is convinced that it is not only the potential of client referrals that makes involvement in USLAW a “no brainer,” it is also having the availability of local knowledge and instant credibility at your fingertips where ever and when ever you might have a need.
