Cape Cod Arbitration Conference
To help American practitioners understand the current trends in international commercial dispute resolution, ICC and USCIB will hold a major conference on arbitration, September 19-21 at the Chatham Bars Inn in Cape Cod. “ICC International Dispute Resolution: Meeting the Challenges of Global Dispute Resolution” will focus on the workings of ICC’s International Court of Arbitration. The topics covered will be of interest to practicing lawyers, corporate counsel, academics and executives wishing to learn more about the international dispute resolution mechanisms offered by ICC. European Committee Meeting
The next meeting of USCIB’s European Committee will take place in New York on July 30. Among the many timely topics that will be covered, Angel Carro-Castrillo, Deputy Head of the EU Commission’s Delegation to the UN, will speak over lunch about the changing institutional landscape of the EU, and more specifically on the new Constitutional Treaty. Korea Hosts Workshop on Spam
The OECD is organizing a workshop on spam to take place on September 8 and 9 in Pusan, Korea. The workshop will be hosted by the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication. Building on the results of the February 2004 Spam Workshop in Brussels, the Korea workshop will address issues in greater detail. For more information, please visit:

International Product Policy & Practice Workshop
Please mark your calendar for USCIB's International Product Policy and Practice Workshop to be hosted by the American Chemistry Council in Arlington, Virginia. The workshop will be held on September 13 and 14, and is designed to provide a forum for business to raise awareness of the changing nature of international environmental, health and safety controls.
