The end of summer brings with it a burst of activity in Ulster County.

Over the next several weeks we'll have our 9th Annual Business to Business Showcase which has become the most attend business-networking event in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Ulster County will also once again host the Woodstock Film Festival, which in only five years is now considered one of the preeminent venues for up and coming as well as established film actors and professionals.

1st Annual Ulster County Business Recognition Awards Selected

The Ulster County Development Corporation (UCDC) and the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County (Chamber), as joint organizers of the annual Ulster County Business Recognition Awards, are honoring the Best of Ulster for their individual and business leadership, as well as investments and contributions to economic future of Ulster County and the Hudson Valley Region.

9th Year for Ulster County Business Showcase

Ulster County's largest business networking event, the 2005 Business Showcase will be held on Friday, September 30th from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM at SUNY Ulster in Stone Ridge. This is the 9th year for the Showcase. After seven years being managed by the Ulster County Development Corporation, it is now in its second year of management by the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County.

6th Annual Woodstock Film Festival

Hailed by filmmakers and industry professionals as one of the best, the 6th Annual Woodstock Film Festival will be held from September 28th through October 2nd. The five-day celebration of film and music innovation will include expanded venues, dozens of documentaries, shorts, and full length films, celebrity-led seminars, screenwriting and filmmaking workshops, concerts, an awards ceremony and parties.
