SUNY New Paltz will be the site for the 7th Annual Ulster Business to Business Showcase presented on October 7, 2003. Co-produced by the Ulster County Development Corporation (UCDC) and the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County, the 2003 Showcase will offer expanded opportunities for Ulster County businesses, both small and large.
The move to the campus of SUNY New Paltz is intended to build upon cooperative efforts between UCDC and the School of Business at SUNY New Paltz initiated last year. These efforts have included participation by business students in the planning and implementation of the Showcase as well as co-sponsorship of various business development seminars throughout the year.
The new location is also part of UCDC’s efforts to make its services available to all businesses throughout Ulster County. The central location of SUNY New Paltz offers opportunities to attract new participants, increase attendance, and allow exhibitors to reach a wider audience.
Hours for the Showcase are from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A post-showcase networking reception for exhibitors is also planned from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the SUNY New Paltz Terrace Restaurant.
The Showcase, which is produced jointly by UCDC and the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County, was initiated to help businesses grow within the county and to aid in attracting new businesses. Partners and major sponsors in this year’s showcase include the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Ulster Savings Bank, the Daily Freeman, John Mallen Communications, Ellenville National Bank, Hudson Valley DataNet, The Ellenbogen Group, Inc., WKNY and WBPM Radio, and the Hudson Valley Business Journal.
