Significant business and economic development activity and accomplishment through June 30th include:
· $11,129,000 new capital investment countywide
· 383 jobs were created and retained with the new investments
· 5 new companies began operations with the assistance of UCDC
· 39 Revolving Loan Fund and UCIDA projects were pending with a total of $73,710,000 new investment and the creation of nearly 500 jobs. The projects are a diverse range of business: precision manufacturing, senior living facility, hospitality and tourism destination, high tech, and consumer services.
· 7 UCIDA projects were induced totaling $52,600,000 investment with a potential of 690 new or retained jobs
· 4 Revolving Loan Fund projects with a cumulative $1,639,000 new capital investment are pending
· UCDC currently manages a $9 million revolving loan portfolio
· Working with 36 new business prospects with a potential creation of 6,960 new jobs
