The Ulster County Development Corporation (UCDC) and the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County (Chamber), as joint organizers of the annual Ulster County Business Recognition Awards, are once again honoring the Best of Ulster for individual and business leadership, as well as investments and contributions to the economic future of Ulster County and the Hudson Valley Region.

Ulster County Legislature, Ulster County Development Corporation (UCDC), Ulster County Industrial Development Agency (UCIDA), and Ulster County Planning Board (UCPB) are collaborating on the creation of a new strategic economic development vision and plan for Ulster County. This effort will identify and prioritize desired outcomes for a vibrant Ulster County economy and provide a blueprint for economic development, including business growth and community revitalization.

The Ulster County Development Corporation (UCDC) and the Ulster County Office of Employment and Training (OET) are pleased to share with you a recently completed Ulster County Area Workforce Report (the Report).

For the past two years, State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz School of Business students have competed in the School’s Business Plan Contest. The contest included teams of students, coached by a faculty advisor, testing their knowledge in real world business settings by researching and developing an idea and turning it into a practical profitable business plan.
