Los Angeles County transportation officials will gather at Union Station March 16, at 9 AM Wednesday to give the public five easy ways to beat near record high gasoline prices, which have caused considerable economic pain for daily commuters.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Board of Directors have unanimously approved recommendations to start developing a transportation investment plan to lay the groundwork to extend Measure M, an existing half-cent transportation sales tax.
