For all of us at The Ayers Group, 2006 marks the beginning of an exciting new era in our firm’s 30-year history. I am very pleased to announce that on May 15 we became part of Kelly Services, Inc.

You all know Kelly, the pioneer of temporary staffing. The company, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, is the second largest staffing company in the U.S. and the fifth largest in the world. A $5.3 billion FORTUNE 500 company, it operates some 2,600 wholly-owned offices worldwide. We are now part of that global network.

But the numbers and rankings are not why I chose Kelly. In the final analysis, it came down to one thing: alignment of values. As a partner, Kelly will be able to move us into the fourth decade and beyond.

The Ayers Group is built on long-standing client relationships. Some of you have been with us since our founding in 1975. We understand that of all the factors that go into establishing solid relationships, values are of paramount importance. You chose to work with us because you know our reputation for integrity. You know our commitment to providing a consistently high-level of service that delivers quality and value. You know we take the concept of partnership with our clients very seriously.

You know us, you know what we stand for, and you know what we can do for you. We live our values and prove our commitment every day. That’s why our relationships have endured.

Kelly shares our values and commitment and embraces our philosophy of service. And it is providing us with the opportunity and the resources to carry these forward.

I believe this is the right fit for our clients—and also for our employees. I think it offers great opportunity for the partners that have developed relationships with Ayers over the years in helping us serve you. Being part of Kelly will enable us collectively to take our support to a new level and to provide new and enhanced services.

So, what does this mean to our clients—and to you—on a day-to-day basis?

The Ayers Group will continue to operate under its own name and in the same locations. Our focus as we go forward will be on career transistion and organizational effectiveness consulting, but at an even higher level than in the past. You will continue to have the same trusted relationship you’ve always had with me and the team that serves you.

On behalf of all of us here at Ayers, we are excited about the future and the opportunity it holds. We look forward to continuing to work with and for you. In the weeks and months ahead, let’s get together and talk about how we can use our new resources to meet your needs even more fully and effectively. Tell us what you need, and we’ll figure out how to provide it.

I look forward to hearing from you.
