At a time when job compression and downsizing have made the HR job tougher than ever, The Ayers Group offers services designed to provide some relief.  "Our online reporting system makes it easy for clients to follow the progress of their former employees' outplacement programs, eliminating one more set of papers from the ever-increasing pile," says Terry Ebert, Managing Director of Career Transition Services.

Client-users enter the Client Service Report Center through the Ayers Internet Resource Center at
www.ayers.com where they can access password-protected lists of former employees enrolled in outplacement programs at The Ayers Group.  They can choose to view current monthly reports for their entire roster of active candidates or on a single-candidate basis.  Each candidate's status and level of activity is available at a glance.

"A candidate may become inactive as a result of vacation or a personal or family illness," Ebert observes. "In that case, it's our policy to freeze the program, resuming it when the candidate returns to active status. Candidates who have completed their programs or landed are removed from the list, although all reports remain in our database.

"If the client has a question about an individual, the system makes it possible to contact that candidate's consultant immediately via email, simplifying follow-up interaction," he continues.  "And the information is available on demand, 24 hours a day, wherever the user has Web access."
