"We're very good at building longstanding client relationships and also establishing new ones, even in a difficult marketplace," observes Bob Deissig, President of Staffing Services at The Ayers Group.  According to Deissig, relationship building is the mission of the firm's new recruiting office, which opened in Rye, NY this past October.  "This move is in response to our growing client base in Westchester and southern Connecticut," he says, noting that the Rye-based staff will continue to support their existing clients in New York City.

"Our focus is on geographic growth," says Vice President Bill Kirk, an eight-year Ayers veteran who manages the new office.  "We will continue to serve but not limit ourselves to the financial services industry.  I'm very familiar with this area because I started out here, as did some of my colleagues who have moved up here with me."

"The new office has already proved to be productive. Even in this economy, we're bringing in new accounts," says Deissig.  "There is some movement in the marketplace. With so many candidates available, however, companies want to make sure they get the absolute best.  So they're looking at everyone under a microscope and shopping the market before they choose."

In addition to adding an office, The Ayers Group recently welcomed a new account manager to the staffing services team.

Paul Bartlewski
comes to Ayers with eight years' experience in human resources management and technology staffing.  He began his career at a financial software company, where he was responsible for more than 300 hires, and later became director of recruiting for IBM's Ebusiness Centers of Innovation.  Most recently, he was responsible for HR and consulting services at NexusGroup, an IBM subsidiary.  Bartlewski works with full-time and consulting candidates as well as clients.

The Rye office is located at 411 Theodore Fremd Ave., Rye, NY 10580, Tel: 914.967.1977.
