Workplace Charity Giving

Should companies expect and/or pressure their employees to contribute to annual charities (United Way, etc.) on the company’s behalf, then keep close track of who participates or responds and who does not – especially in today’s tough economy?

Charity giving should never be expected in the workplace – irrespective of the economy.
