Heliovolt Cuts Ribbon on New Solar Plant
HelioVolt, an Austin-based company which produces sunlight-converting, thin film solar material, held a ribbon cutting for it's first full-scale solar manufacturing plant last week. The 122,400-square-foot factory will create around 160 new jobs and utilize one of Texas’ greatest untapped resources, abundant sunshine.

ITT Technical Institute Adding Degree Programs
ITT Tech announced that they will begin offering its first bachelor of science degree programs in the areas of construction management, electronics and communications engineering technology and information systems security. Programs are scheduled to officially begin in December.
