Texas Clean Energy Park Green Jobs Initiative
The Texas Clean Energy Park TCEP is seeking input from businesses in Central Texas active or entering energy conservation, renewable energy and related building systems services on the kinds of skills and training your workforce needs.

Under a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission, Good Company Associates is helping the TCEP develop a training plan for expanding “green” job training, for central Texas. Our goal is to provide support, coordination, and funding for worker training programs to increase participation and better match job skills to industry needs. TCEP also hopes to help productively channel potential federal funds for green job initiatives.

Please contact TCEP to let them know your needs and concerns. Are you having trouble finding as many skilled workers as your business needs? What kinds of Jobs are hardest to fill? Are there important skills not presently being taught in current training programs? Would expanding the pool of potential employees help your operation to grow more rapidly? Help TCEP, and the Texas Workforce Commission, shape local training options and investments to better meet your needs. Please contact the TCEP through our web site, www.txcleanenergypark.com, or call Laurie Foss at 512.279.0761 and let us know your needs.
