SCBA Makes Donation to Dallas Police Department Vice Unit

Dallas Police Department holds Press Conference to Announce SCBA's Donation to the DPD VICE Unit

Tuesday, October 24th, David A. Neumann, SCBA Chairman presented a donation of $7,500 from SCBA to the Dallas Police Department that will support its VICE Unit.
Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle and his Executive Staff including First Assistant Chief David Brown, Assistant Chief Cindi Villareal, Assistant Chief Ron Waldrop, Assistant Chief Daniel Garcia, and Deputy Chief Julian Bernal were in attendance for the announcement.
The SCBA's $7,500 gift will fund 100 percent of the technology equipment requested by the Vice Unit to aid in their law enforcement efforts regarding Sexually Oriented Businesses. The SCBA is committed to crime reduction and prevention efforts that will directly affect the Stemmons Corridor as well as the City of Dallas. SCBA provided a similar donation of $4,500 two years ago that enabled the purchase of equipment for one of the Department's bait cars during the initiation of the Bait Car program. This Bait Car program has significantly reduced auto thefts in Dallas. Since 1981, SCBA has been an effective business advocacy organization committed to economic development, transportation, and public safety for the over 5,000 businesses and employees within the Stemmons Corridor.
