On March 8th, 2006, UT Southwestern Medical Center hosted the Stemmons Corridor Business Association's Board of Director's Meeting. Issues such as area development projects, economic development, new businesses in the Corridor and SOB's (sexually oriented businesses) in the area.

In the 2003 Bond Program, the Stemmons Corridor Business Association (SCBA) initiated, identified, and obtained the approval of Dallas City Manager, City Council, and voters for $31 Million of street improvements within the Stemmons Corridor from the 2003 Bond Program. Over 10% of the City of Dallas' 2003 Bond Program for Streets was dedicated to our Stemmons Corridor. It is time again to make a difference in the Corridor by asking for additional street improvement dollars in the 06-07 Bond Program. The list has been compiled and soon SCBA Leadership will be leading the way to better streets, once again.
