SCBA Board of Director's Work For A Better Corridor
SCBA Board of Director's meet monthly to discuss tough issues impacting the corridor and establish a gameplan
by Brooke Dieterlen
The Stemmons Corridor Business Association's Board of Director's meets monthly to obtain SCBA Task Force updates and discuss tough issues affecting the corridor. At the December 7th, SCBA Board meeting, Chairman of the Board and President, David A. Neumann asked Mike Rawlings, CIC Partners, to provide the Board an update on the fight against homelessness in the city of Dallas. Mr. Rawlings was able to provide an overview of the strategic plan the City of Dallas has to begin implementation of the fight against homelessness. Discussions took place in regard to providing shelter, food, jobs, and hope to those that roam the streets of Dallas. SCBA board members asked questions in regard to funding, project implementation timing, and administration. The presentation was so well received that the Board of Directors has decided to embark on monthly updates from key speakers on topics that affect the corridor.
