SCBA successfully met with Business Leaders on the Comprehensive Land Use Study relating to the Stemmons Corridor Land Use Plan

The Stemmons Corridor Business Association (SCBA) requested a special briefing on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan study specific to the Stemmons Corridor. Lead Consultant John Fregonese and Director of Development Services for the City of Dallas, Theresa O'Donnell updated leaders from the five (5) key subdistricts in the Stemmons Corridor: Brookhollow Industrial District, Dallas Market Center, Design District, Southwestern Medical District, and one-third (1/3) of Dallas' Hotel Rooms. 

This unique meeting was attended by key leaders of the Stemmons Corridor including;

  • Dr. Ron Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer, Parkland Hospital
  • Louis Beecherl, III, Member, Parkland Hospital Board of Managers
  • Chris Durovich, President and Chief Executive Officer, Children's Medical Center Dallas
  • Dr. John McConnell, Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs, UT Southwestern Medical Center
  • Cindy Morris, Chief Operating Officer, Dallas Market Center
  • Theresa O'Donnell, Director of Development Services, City of Dallas
  • David A. Neumann, Chairman of the Board and President, Stemmons Corridor Business Association
  • SCBA Board of Directors

SCBA plans to create a "Task Force" that will work closely with the City of Dallas to roll out the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Stemmons Corridor.
