The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will take place on Sunday, November 1 in Balboa Park. This race raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.  When you participate in the race your entry fee gets you to the start line, but your personal fundraising helps to find the cures, and up to 75 percent of the funds you raise for the race remain right here in San Diego County.  The remaining 25 percent of each dollar you raise funds international research to discover the causes of breast cancer and its cures.  For more information or to register for the race click here.
