Kudos For Suzanne Black

 Greg Sneyd, Director of DentalSuccess, Shares... This week I read an article written byJack Von Bulow, one of our Crown Council members who has a dental practice in Temple City, California. Jack is a regular contributor to his local newspaper and I would like to share part of the article with you. Jack has some very complimentary words about Suzanne Black, the head of our Dental Boot Kamp coaching team.
Here’s what Jack has to say about Suzanne:
“… I’ve hired a coach. You’re probably thinking, “How many coaches and consultants does this guy need?” My answer, “Lots”.
Just one more thing; SHE’S from USC.
That’s right. Coach Suzanne Black. Hope she remembers I sent her a Trojan t-shirt and an SC baseball cap too.
Suzanne has been consulting for around 15 years or so and she’s helped out over 200 dental practices plus numerous other businesses. She’s worked with Dental Boot Kamp grads like me for about the last 6 years.
This is actually my second time around with Suzanne. The first time through I was really slow so I guess I’ve kinda made up for that by needing the coaching twice. Seriously, Suzanne really helped transform our practice into something totally progressive from something special needing some vision and direction.
Suzanne can look at systems and people and produce something much greater than the sum of its’ parts. She’s able to draw out the strengths and passion from individuals, create a human quilt of talent and enthusiasm and make a system sing. Suzanne can look at a team concern or a flaw in the system that looks to me more like the guts of a transistor radio or the interior of the Space Shuttle and recommend the necessary adjustments way more easily than I can find Trojan football on AM radio.
She’s amazing. It’s a good thing she is.
I’m really excited about working with folks like Suzanne. Running a small healthcare business offers all kinds of variety. You get to be clinician, a CEO, a manager, a leader, a researcher, a human resources expert, director of marketing, and a cheerleader, just to name a few duties. Remember what I said about multi-tasking.
I’m totally excited by the prospect of having Suzanne working with my terrific team. I already know she’ll have us growing in ways we haven’t even considered…”
Thanks for your kind comments, Jack . I know there are hundreds, if not thousands, of other team members out there who Suzanne has helped in one way or the other and would agree with everything you’ve said.
