Well, it’s finally time to get these kids back to school! We would like to personally welcome all new and returning families to the 2008-2009 school year! We have tons of exciting activities planned for all Shelton families, thanks to our wonderful Shelton Parents' Association (SPA) volunteers! Between summer vacations and toting kids to various activities, our SPA volunteers have been hard at work!
 Mitzi Bouillion and Susan Abernathy have been working hard on our new Shelton directories. This year, we will be getting new binders with the directory, so you can dispose of the old one! We would like to give Anne Hendrick-Thomas and Maggie Adams a special “Thank You” for proofing the new directories and thank Tina Larson with the database!
Jennifer Harrison and Melissa Giodosis did a fabulous job organizing Buddy Families for our new Shelton families.
D’Ann Moore has been busy all summer getting the Charger Corral ready for our little Chargers!
Denise Farinholt and Lyn LaMothe have already started planning the Shelton Stampede Auction. We are excited about the new buzz in the SPA!
Be sure to mark your calendars and join us for some of our upcoming events, including Orientation on Thursday, August 21st, Meet the Teacher on Friday, August 22nd, the Annual Dads' Club Dinner on Thursday, August 28th, and the New Parent Dinner on Thursday, September 4th!
Don’t forget to save your spot for the Shelton Moms’ Retreat, taking place at Rough Creek Lodge September 13-14! These events are a great way to get involved with Shelton School and make new friends! We hope to see everyone there!
