I hope the weather, the price of gas, the election, or the kids... didn't drive anyone crazy this summer.  I have rented hundreds of golf balls from area courses.  Some lasted several rounds, but most of them are now selling for half price in a pro shop near you.

It is time for us to get back to what we love, watching kids at Shelton play sports.  In the immortal words of Jimmy Buffett... "Some of it's magic and some of it's tragic, but I had a good life all the way."  Jimmy never played anything at Shelton, but his words are truthful at all levels of sports.  The roads these athletes travel this year may not be an easy route, but we hope as parents and coaches it is a road that was worth the trip.

We hope ALL OF SHELTON will come out and support the teams, players and coaches and support the efforts of so many people at this school.  It is not just a high school or a middle school, it is Shelton School and the support starts early (childhood) and hopefully continues way past graduation.  There is not a better feeling as a coach than to look into the stands or watch from the sidelines as parents, brothers, sisters, teachers and students are yelling for our kids.  Be there!
