     The vision of St. David’s Community Health Foundation is to keep the promise of a better life by improving health and health care for all Central Texans. Our mission is to work with commitment, integrity, and respect to achieve our vision in our hospitals, programs, and community partnerships. In this year's report, we examine the need that exists throughout Central Texas for health care, and how we work to meet that need in collaboration with our many community partners. You will read about the care we provide to area schoolchildren in the St. David’s Dental Program; grant support to agencies working in the areas of physical health, mental health, and aging; the linking of uninsured hospital patients with medical homes in our MATCH program; the superior care available in the hospitals of St. David’s HealthCare; and our support for health-care-related education through our W. Neal Kocurek/St. David’s Scholarship Program and the upcoming St. David’s School of Nursing at Texas State University-Round Rock.

     We hope the report will be a resource for you to learn more about St. David’s Community Health Foundation and the work we are doing to address the important health care issues facing our community.
