Adult Education Training Principles
Before you start that new training project here are 12 important points to keep in mind regarding training adults.
Adult Education Principles Today Involves:
- Deciding if it is a training problem
- Finding out what the group really wants and needs to learn
- Deciding how they are likely to learn it best
- Deciding what you are going to do, and how to help them learn it
- Getting them ready to learn and yourself ready to instruct
- Telling them what to expect
- Instructing
- Reminding them of what they have covered
- Finding out if they understand, feel satisfied, are enjoying themselves
- Finding out if the training has done them any good
- Changing your approach if necessary
- Deciding if you still think it’s a training problem
