Linda Lange, project director for the launch of this e-newsletter, led team communications and acted as a liaison between the project team and the executive director. Linda collaborated with Paul Highby, managing editor, concerning the graphical and text components of the e-newsletter and contributed as a writer and editor. Linda's background spans more than 12 years of writing, editing and project management experience in the technology sector. In 1999 she started her own consulting firm, Write Magic. 
 
Paul Highby, managing editor, also served as a contributing writer and as technical lead, working with service provider eNews Builder to design and construct the e-newsletter. Paul's background includes more than 20 years of corporate and consulting experience in information technology, as well as a recent Technical Writing certificate from SJSU Professional Development.
 
Shilpa Arora, contributing writer for several articles in this e-newsletter, is enrolled in the Management Communications and Technical Writing program at SJSU Professional Development.
 
Marie Highby, volunteer coordinator and faculty contact for this first issue of Professional Development News, is an instructor and program consultant in the Management Communications and Technical Writing Certificate Program at SJSU Professional Development. She holds master’s degrees in English and business administration and has extensive experience in financial management and college teaching.
