Local Returned Volunteer Receives Award
In June, Peace Corps honored Juanita Limas with the 2005 Franklin H. Williams award. Limas, along with ten other Returned Volunteers from across the United States, received the award as an acknowledgment of her ongoing commitment to community service and to promoting Peace Corps third goal: promoting understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

Voices from the Field
Peter and Helyn Luisi-Mills are currently serving in Naogaon, Bangladesh as English Teachers for the local Department of Youth and Development, which offers low cost classes and job training to unemployed men and women. They have been in Bangladesh since August 2004.

Dan MacLaughlin and his wife Siobhan served as English teachers in Slovakia from 1999-2002. Dan is currently a recruiter with the Peace Corps Regional Recruiting Office in Minneapolis.
