Part of Peace Corps’ mission is to promote understanding of other cultures and peoples on the part of all Americans. This essentially means bringing Peace Corps home and sharing one’s experiences with family, friends, and community. One of the many methods of sharing the rich diversity of the world is through food, and Peace Corps Volunteers certainly have many recipes, and stories, to share about cuisine that they ate or, in some cases, experienced.
