There's No Place Like Peace Corps For The Holidays

The holidays are here, and many of us are getting ready to celebrate that special day or days with family and friends. If you are currently applying for Peace Corps, or are going to be leaving for service shortly, or even just considering the possibility of applying, have you thought about where your travels may take you next holiday season? You may be back home for the holidays. Maybe you will be sharing some of the same, or at least similar, traditions with your host community. Or, you might be sharing a celebration that you have never heard of (yet). The following stories are from recruiters in the Minneapolis office, and reflect the diversity of holiday, Christmas or otherwise, traditions around the world. Hopefully these stories will start you thinking “Where will I be this time next year?”
