Congratulations
to all the tax guys on the completion of another busy season. I hope your tax season was a successful one.
The Scholarship Committee
interviewed student’s at WT two weeks ago to determine the winners of the
Haggard and Panhandle Scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year. The winners will be announced at WTAMU’s annual
awards reception on April 28. Thanks to
Jeff Fairchild, Cindy Garner, and Danny
Bishop for serving on this Committee.
And a special thanks to Darlene
Pulliam who organized the interviews, screened the candidates, and gave us
a tour of the accounting department.
Cory Joiner,
President-Elect (and soon to be president) is looking for CPAs interested
serving as an Officer of the Chapter or as a Committee Chair. We are also looking for members who would
like to serve on a Committee. Please
contact Cory, Jobie, or me if you can serve.
As I prepare to hand the gavel to Cory, I want to take a
moment to thank everyone who served on a Committee, as a Committee Chair, Officer,
or Board Member. And a special thanks
to Jobie who keeps the Chapter running smoothly and somehow managed to keep me
on task.

It is hard to believe another fiscal year for the Panhandle Chapter is coming to a close.
If you have not received a directory, please contact me at panchap.cpas@wildblue.net. They were mailed in December, and I am hoping everyone has received a copy.
And, please send updates to your contact information via email with the SUBJECT: MEMBER UPDATE. I will use these updates in the next printed directory.
