Well it is already August, and another summer has almost slipped by.  It seems that all those “summer projects” I had planned to get done still somehow remain undone.  I hope that all have had an enjoyable summer even if, like me, it has not always been the most productive.

Now that summer is almost over, the Chapter has a very busy fall lined up starting with the Annual Tax Institute on August 27 – 28th.   In conjunction with the seminar, we will have a Chapter meeting.  Steve Goodman, the 2008-2009 TSCPA Chairman will make a presentation.  We will present Tenure Awards for many of our members, and announce the CPA and Committee Chair of the Year...

Friday, September 5th, 2008

11:45 at the Amarillo Club

JOINT CPE-CLE MEETING with Attorney’s prior to golf on Friday September 5th.  Earn one hour of CPE with the attorney's before heading to Ross Rogers Golf Course for networking and social gathering.
 
Arrive for lunch at the Amarillo Club between 11:30 - 11:45, CPE-CLE begins after all are served at between 12:00 - 12:15, meeting ends and head to Ross Rogers at 1:15. 

A perfect opportunity to earn an hour of CPE while connecting with the local attorney’s

Although this is not considered a “Chapter Meeting,” all members are invited to attend.  The topic for the joint CPE-CLE is to be announced at a later date.  All attending must PRE-REGISTER in order to receive the CPE-CLE credit and to be counted for lunch.
