PRESIDENT'S LETTER

Hard to believe, my year as the Panhandle Chapter President is coming to an end soon, and this will be my last writing for the Newsletter.  Looking back it has been a very busy year, but I’ve really enjoyed serving the Panhandle Chapter this past year. 

I’ve been to some really good Chapter and TSCPA meetings and have met and worked with some really great CPA’s in our region and state who really do care about our profession.

Thanks to Richard Blankenship for a job well done this year as the President of the Chapter.  Thanks for hearing concerns and contemplating answers as we forge forward in our Chapter business.  I look forward to working with Roger Haynes in the coming year. 

Just a couple of notes of interest.  This past year, the Board of Directors passed a motion to provide one day of “free CPE” for any member that recruits a new, never ever, member to the Chapter.  This includes new CPA’s to the area that have never been members of the TSCPA or newly certified CPA’s that were never Student or Candidate Members or long time resident CPA’s of the area that have never been a member of the TSCPA or Chapter. 

Get out there and recruit.  The Accounting and Auditing Update and the Tax Institute are just around the corner.  Get yourself a FREE day of CPE

"5 Levels of Estate Planning IFS A076901"

This education seminar is designed to help you understand some of the estate planning concepts from the basic levels through the advanced concepts associated to reduce estate and transfer taxes for clients.
