PRESIDENT'S LETTER
From the President
by Richard Blankenship

Happy Tax Season!  Just a little further to go, we’re in the home stretch now.  Just a couple of reminders for April and May as we finish out this fiscal year.  Plan now to attend the Chapter Meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 24th at 11:30.  We will vote on the Board for the 2008-2009 year and announce the new Committee Chairs.
Also, we have William Treacy, Executive Director of the TSBPA, presenting one hour of CPE.   We will recognize the student members and draw until we have a winner for $250 cash prize.  This promises to be a full and beneficial meeting, so click below to download a registration form, complete and mail to the Panhandle Chapter.  Space is limited.  SIGN-UP NOW.

FROM the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

I hope all are surviving tax season and ready for a break this spring.

JUST A REMINDER.  We continue to update and clean up the online directory.  Have you been there?  CLICK HERE to access the member’s only directory.  Have your birth date and certificate number ready.  Search by name, firm, city, or zip code.  GO THERE, NOW.  If you have any trouble accessing or happen to find incorrect information, please let me know.  We are working out the bugs daily.

The Panhandle Chapter operates efficiently only because of the many volunteers that are willing to sit on the Board of Directors and Officers and Chair the many Committees.  As Richard announced the proposed Board, I want to list the Committee Chairs for the 2008-2009 year.  When you see these people, offer a pat on the back, a “thanks” and even offer your time.  WE APPRECIATE YOU!
