Firms, partners, principals, owners….get your recently certified CPA’s, your Student interns, Student members, Candidates for Membership involved. This is a free luncheon and seminar to educate this group of people on the benefits of holding a CPA license.

Amarillo Area Estate Planning Council has scheduled the JOINT MEETING of the year for Thursday, October 25, 2007.

About the Chapter

Tax Institue Awards Presented
During our Chapter Meeting at the Annual Tax Institute in August, we recognized several members. Cindy Garner was recognized as the CPA of the Year during 2006-2007. Ellen Jones was recognized as the Outstanding Committee Chair for 2006-2007. Tammie Coffee was prestented with a plaque for a "job well done" during her service as President of the Chapter.
Many tenure awards were handed out as well.

IN MEMORY

Don Buckley
Sympathy is expressed to the family of James D. (Don) Buckley. He passed away August 28, 2007. Don was a member of the Chapter for many years and served as the President 1966-1967 fiscal year.
