It is that time of year again!!!  Hope your holiday season is off to a great start.  We have several events coming up these last few weeks of the year.  The Federal Tax Update, our Tax Spectacular, is scheduled for Monday, December 4th at the Civic Center.  

Our Speaker is Steven J. Tillinger, and the course provides eight hours of CPE. The following morning, Tuesday, December 5th, there are four hours of CPE available at the new Texas Margin Tax seminar which will be held at the Amarillo College Business and Industry Center on Polk Street. Both classes have registration at 8:00 and studies begin at 8:30 sharp.

ALSO on December 4th, don't miss the Chapter Meeting. The Freedom Singers from Tascosa High School will perform. So far this year, no one has won the drawing , so the prize money is up to $150.00. Be there for a chance to WIN.

The Controller's Forum is scheduled to meet Wednesday, November 15th at 11:45.  This group meets monthly to discuss topics relevant to industry or government finance and accouting.  It's a great way to benchmark, get new ideas and network with others facing similar challenges.  If you are interested in attending, e-mail Sandy Rayburn at sandyr@upshaw-insurance.com.  (See full detail below.)
